The Foggie Wanderer is an intimate, immersive travel documentary series connecting you to the personal stories of people in Arctic, Nordic and Baltic lands. Our hosts lend us their lives, offering an insightful portal to relate, connect and experience a place and a people through their eyes. In this series, we shed light on the transformative impact of immersive travel - that is, the building of an intimate relationship to place and people, through the specific lens of someone else’s life. The intention is to enhance empathy and self-awareness through immersive travel. Imagine Humans of New York meets Rick Steve’s Europe, the cinematic quality of Chef’s Table, and a Black female host with dreadlocks. First stop - Greenland!

My name is Elizabeth D Foggie, and I am the bridge to these stories offering my own reflective insight as an outsider exploring and being changed alongside the viewer. Somehow, someway I’ve managed to travel to 10 countries (and counting). I don’t come from much, and that’s why I’m making this series. Sometimes we limit ourselves by the thoughts we have about who we are, and what we can do in the world - but never underestimate the desire for freedom, growth and the power to define to the world who you are. When I’m not traveling, I serve to empower others to bring their creative visions to life. Check out the blog to learn a little more about my travel story.
